Well, I was lucky enough to see Skye open for Kalan Porter here in Winnipeg. Found out that I'd liked her all along. My first time hearing Skye was on the Barbie Diaries movie. My daughter loves that movie and I love the music in it.
So I find myself liking Skye's music and energy quite a bit. I've decided to promote her as much as I can on my own. I'm a freelance music writer. I write mainly for Indie bands, but as I really like Skye and see her getting huge, I thought I'd do my part.
I've written a quick little article on her, and once I've learned 90% of the lyrics to her new CD - Sound Soldier, I plan on writing an indepth review and seeing if anyone will bite it. If they don't that's fine cause I'll be promoting her on my myspace page and my personal website.
