So the show tonight was off the frigging CHAIN.
Skye looked AMAZING. She sounded great. Her new band is totally sick. She sang (In this order I'm pretty sure) Into Action Human Boyhunter Ghosts Makeout Song Music Is My Boyfriend "Human" is going to be the 1st single from the album! "Sound Soldier" should be out in October. (She told Lyna and I the first week, so October 2nd?) Into Action is great, I like her version better then the Tim version, much more fun and upbeat and catchy. Human from what I heard is great! Definitely very different Ghosts ..I'm not gonna lie...I really didn't like this song  I was expecting something slower ...buts its upbeatMakeout Song ...ok WOW ...Skye definitely brought the sex appeal for the beginning of this song, and she goes crazy during the chorus. Another great song. Boyhunter in english is CRAAAAAAAAAZY. By far one of my favourite songs from the night! AND SHE RAPPED! LIKE RAP RAP RAPPED ....not sure if she was doing Ak'Sents part of the song, or if they took Ak'sent off and made Skye do the rap ...either way...HOT "cause I'm a boyhunter, a boyhunter, a boyhunter, I need a boy tonight"  "Get on your knees, hands up boys ...."Music Is My Boyfriend has this crazy electro beat, with skye pretty much SCREAMING in the chorus. brilliant. Personally, if I had to choose a 1st single from the songs she sang, I'd definitely go with Boyhunter or Music Is My Boyfriend. She's definitely grown up A LOT since NFTB, and these songs definitely show a more mature side to her! So if you're expecting a NFTB Pt2...prepare to be extremely disappointed. I think the fans will definitely be happy with this album. And I personally cannot wait to hear it anymore. I have some videos and pics, but the videos are horrible...you can hardly hear ANYTHING. But I'll post them on youtube ASAP. And my pics came out crappy aswell, but I'll post some good ones.

Thanks for the lowdown on last night's Skye gig. To put a personal perspective on it, yesterday morning it was gray and overcast in Toronto which to a degree reflected my mood knowing that I would be unable to attend last night's festivities. But by the afternoon the weather had cleared and the sky(e) was bright blue with not a cloud to be seen anywhere. To say it turned out to be a beautiful day would be an understatement. As I drove home my spirits picked up and I just knew the concert would be extra special for those attending. Hope you all enjoyed yourselves.
Any idea as to approximately how many people were in attendance and how well would you say that Skye's performance was received by the audience in general. Did any of you stay for the full event or leave shortly after Skye's set. Curious as usual! North of Bolton --------------------    Good Friends Last A Lifetime!!! |

I can't beleive I didn't go. I bet I could have got in. And I probably could have got a cheap flight to Canada. Small gigs are better. Stadium ones are really fun but not as personal... OMG. If she doesnt come to England.... xxx -------------------- . |

The impression I'm getting from that sound (And yeah, it can only be impression, but the beat is there ) is that Skye's gone a LOT more Rock. Good! Unless I'm terribly mistaken, this is pretty much what I'd been hoping for
