Just noticed this in yesterday's Toronto Star. I wonder if this is the same gravel pit that Skye filmed the Human video in? Indeed there are quite a few gravel pit's in the area so it could have been any one of them. I don't watch that show as a rule so can't say and to be honest if you've seen one gravel pit well..........

Article In Toronto Star

Hope everyone's keeping well and getting ready for winter. Put my snow tires on the car yesterday and placed the old snow brush in the trunk ready for that first big dump!

Is there any news or updates regarding Skye's career? She must miss performing as much as her fans miss the opportunity to see her in action or was that "into action".

Jeff

Yes Jeff, that was indeed the same pit in which Skye filmed the Human video. Our PVRs were set last night. Now we can watch the show and catch every detail over and over again. lol

I love my PVR's. Bought one not long after Bell made them available for Sattelite TV subscribers and then bought a hi-def version two years ago. Not that I watch a lot of TV but it does allow you to easily record what you do enjoy and watch it at your leisure. However it's the instant replay, pausing and fast forward that I love the best. You're watching something and the phone rings, no problem. Just put it on pause or play back what you missed by hitting the back button when you return from your phone call or whatever interruption has occurred. The fast forward option is also great for zipping past those annoyingly loud commercials. I would have to say it is one of the most useful electronic gadgets to come along in the last few years.

Unfortunately I didn't have my PVR set for The Border last night as I was unaware of the gravel pit episode. I'll have to watch for a rerun later in the year or maybe it'll show up on youboob. My buddy Jim had a short appearance on the Rick Mercer show a few weeks ago and I caught that on youtube. He's the guy with the overalls and baby blue hat. You might remember him as the janitor on an episode of Radio Free Roscoe, that show that Skye acted on a few years back or you may have seen him on Corner Gas a year ago.
